- RSVP Status: We store your attendance response and choice for events to display list details to trip participants.
2. Google Calendar Integration
If you choose to enable the Google Calendar Two-Way Sync feature, our application requests access to write and read events. To protect your privacy:
- Dedicated Calendar: Wruff will create a new, separate calendar named Wruff - [Trip Name] in your Google Calendar.
- No Personal Calendar Access: We only sync events within this dedicated calendar. We do NOT access, store, or view your main personal calendar or any other calendars in your Google account.
- Real-time updates: We use Google Calendar webhook push notifications to identify modifications in that dedicated calendar and sync them back to the website.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for:
- Providing, operating, and maintaining the web application.
- Sending authentication, verification, or login emails.
- Synchronizing logistics and timings among members of shared trips.
4. Data Sharing and Security
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Trip data is only accessible to invited members who hold the trip share link. We use industry-standard encryption practices to secure your data and OAuth tokens.
